Being Pandemic and Contagious, Now Attacked More than 200 Countries. Here are some facts about COVID-19 pandemic.

A Deep Look into Covid-19

What is covid-19

Covid-19 is caused by SARS-COV-2 which is a member of the family of coronaviruses. There are many, if not hundreds of coronaviruses. The first to be identified in Humans was in 1960s.

How it came?

The new diseases, usually infectious ones, are frequently coming from animals toward humans, just like SARS and MERS. The earlier from bats to humans and the later from bats to camels to humans. Some other scientists believe that its came through Pangolin, but how? is unclear.

From where it flourished

The first cases were reported at Wuhan province of China.

Who is affected?

People whose age is more than 60 years are more vulnerable to being infected by SARS-COV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The second most susceptible group is of those people who already have major disease like that of kidney, heart, liver and more. Beside these, the men are at high risk than females. Why? Because there are more number of genes controlling immunity which lies on X chromosomes. Women/females have double X chromosomes while men have a single one. The health workers are another group of vulnerable people because of less protection against the virus.

How many killed?

The killing and targeting ratio of this virus is going to be high and high with the passage of time. Its drastic feature is that it is contagious one, spreading from person to person. It spreads by hand shake, body touch, through air and many more ways. Currently, the death toll is more than one lac and fifty thousand. The afected number is 2.2 Million.

Is lock down effective?

The lock down is an effective way because its incubation period is 14 days at maximum. If people remain close in homes, it will not get any host and thus will die by itself. However, the people show non-sense to this disease. Vietnam is less susceptible because people show more responsibility. In Italy, people at first became irresponsible, and the death rate gone high and high, killing thousands of people.

Our problem

At the time of this pandemic, we are facing many problems. One such is the social irresponsible behavior of commons and particulars. Our sense is less effective in terms of responsibilities. People believe on rumors which encourages people not to care. The cures and clues are fake at all. Indians say cow’s urine are good, Pakistanis suggest eating onion and garlic as a boosting remedy for Covid-19.
